Evolis printers personalize plastic cards for a wide spectrum of applications. When required, encoding (contact and contactless smart cards, magnetic stripes) is performed before printing.
Printing is carried out with multiple passes through the print head and in a 4-color process (Yellow, Magenta, Cyan and Black). Cards are protected thanks to the application of a layer of varnish.
Finally, the card is flipped over to be printed on the reverse and then ejected to the output hopper.
You can print your cards on-demand singly, or in batches from a database.
The printer featured in the demo is a Primacy.
