At Evolis India, we believe that it is our responsibility to ensure that we do business in such a manner that it enriches our environment and planet.

India e-Waste (Management) Rules 2016 (“E-waste Rules”) were made official by the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) on 23rd March, 2016 by publication in Gazette of India vide number G.S.R 338(E). E-waste Rules came into effect on 1st October 2016 for WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) provisions.

At Evolis India, we believe that it is our responsibility to ensure that we do business in such a manner that it enriches our environment and planet. That’s why we make sure that we are committed to product stewardship through the life cycle of our electronics, and ensure compliance with e-waste rules in India.  In order to achieve this, we are launching the EVOLIS INDIA RECYCLING PROGRAM

All Non- serviceable/end-of- life (above 10 yrs of age)/ Discontinued EVOLIS printers come under the E-waste Management Rule.

Evolis shall inform all the end users via Online/ Offline communications about the program and the steps, as below, to follow in order to recycle Non- serviceable/end-of- life (above 10 yrs of age)/ Discontinued EVOLIS printers.

As an environmentally responsible organization and being committed to ensuring compliance with the new India E-Waste Management and Handling Rules 2011, we have partnered directly with EcoCentric Management Private Limited who is authorized by the State Pollution Boards & Govt. of India to safely Dismantle, Segregate & Dispose E waste. EVOLIS India provides an easy and environment-friendly way to its customers, to dispose-off Evolis Printers that have reached their end-of- life. This service is provided free of cost to the customers.

All Evolis printers are also labelled with the WEEE symbol (crossed-out wheeled bin or crossed-out wheeled bin with underbar) indicating that the final user should not dispose this product along with regular household waste. Instead it is our collective responsibility to hand it over to professional organizations which dispose such e-waste in an environment friendly manner, by dropping the product to the nearest Authorized Evolis E-waste collection center.

Steps to Follow:

  • End Users will call our Toll Free Number 1800 266 9989 and inform us of their intent to recycle
  • The Non- serviceable/end-of- life (above 10 yrs of age)/ Discontinued EVOLIS printers, they intend to recycle; will be directly delivered at your office.
  • We will arrange a pick-up of the end-of-life Evolis product from your office to the E-waste Recycling plant, at our cost.

DON’TS

  • Do not open/ repair the end-of-life Evolis product.
  • Do not sell the end-of-life Evolis product to any unauthorized agency/ scrap dealers.
  • Do not mix/ dispose the end-of-life Evolis product with other household waste.
  • Do not dispose the end-of-life Evolis product in municipal waste bins.
  • Do not keep the end-of-life Evolis product exposed in open.
